Stephen brings an exciting level of haircolor know-how to an amazing group of artists. Stephen’s innate understanding of how haircolor works has been the foundation of his work and his amazing growth as a color educator. Not only is Stephen a resource for Product Club and Redken, he is a Master Colorist at the trendy BLO Salon and Day Spa in Chicago-an urban city with a diverse and discerning client base. Stephen is self-professed “color geek” who is constantly in search of adding depth and richness to his growing knowledge of haircolor techniques. His no-fear approach to coloring allows him to respectfully serve as a resource to technical and artistic colorists who want to delve deeper into the how’s and why’s of color placement and product usage. He’s worked side by side with some of the industry’s top colorists to develop his extensive knowledge of haircolor and techniques. Stephen is a patient teacher who enjoys clearly communicating new ideas and concepts in color placement to maximize a ‘less is best’ approach to foiling hair. Stephen believes that creating beautiful sexy hair will never go out of style and his techniques and expertise will help you create such hair!
