Meet our Artists
Our Education Team has grown to include 15 members throughout North America. Many are salon owners, and all work behind the chair in salons so they know the challenges that colorists face every day. This allows them the opportunity to work with the techniques that they teach in our classes and develop adaptations as well. Plus they are known for incorporating tips and tricks in each class that are real “ah-ha” moments for attendees. They all love to share their knowledge and find great satisfaction in helping others to become more successful.
My passion for hairdressing developed early on in life while growing up in Littleton, Colorado. I loved styling my friends’ hair for events and inventing new ways to braid my teammates hair for softball games. My professional career began over 13 years ago after I made a move to New York City and began attending the Aveda Institute. I apprenticed at the Cutler Salon in Midtown Manhattan as a colorist and then moved on to spend the next nine years at Soon Beauty Lab, where I became a master stylist and manager.
Daily life and people of the city are my muse. I gather inspiration from art history, fashion shows, fashion blogs and internet culture. I am excited to bring everything I’ve learned from working with top colorists and stylists in New York to Denver. Let’s create new, fun looks at The StoryBrick!
